When people hear about the Arctic Circle or Antarctica, the first thing that pops out are the polar bears, also known in the scientific community as Ursus maritimus. However, another word that appears in our minds is the North Pole, climate change, and most importantly, extinction. A terrestrial mammal mainly considered marine due to its necessity to be on the sea for many months was the center of attention for years.
