With over two million deaths caused by brutal murders and torture and the total corruption of the Cambodian government. The Khmer Rouge Regime has become one of the dangerous and the top greatest injustice the human kind has ever faced in history. This great injustice all began with Pol Pot. Pol Pot was born in northern Cambodia in 1925. Like all great evil leaders Pol Pot (young age) was an excellent student was an intellectual person, who got scholarships to go to any school he chose. Pol Pot was interested in Communism and Communist parties. After returning from a meeting Pol Pot came back to the Cambodia while whole region was revolting against French. Since Cambodia started to go corrupt, nosy United States got involved. Then from 1970 to 1973, The U.S periodically bombed and attacked the North Vietnamese sanctuaries in the eastern Cambodia to dispose them, but indeed the bombings and the attacks killed one hundred fifty thousand Cambodian farmers and peasants, this attack killed innocent people that were not involved this fight, As a result of this attack the poor homeless peasants fled to the countryside by the thousands and settled in the Cambodian capital city called Phnom Penh, over populating the city. So Pol Pot took advantage of this opportunity, That same year Pol Pot with his army consisting of teenage framer and peasants took control and effectively seized the city in Cambodia called Phnom Penh. Once in full power, Pol Pot began a constitutional experiment to make a new agrarian utopia influenced by Mao Zedong’s Cultural Revolutions. During the revolution, Mao made a program called, Great Leap Forward.This impressive, cunning and economic program included forced Chinese cities and made those cites class for attacking enemies. Pol Pot then attempted this program in his own way in Cambodia and it was called, Super Great Leap Forward.Then after copying Mao’s plans, Plagiarizing Pol Pot began declaring that in Cambodia it was the year zero and that his societies were cleansed of the past.
