Point Of View Narrative Rough Draft

I stared mortified at my sister Connie from the dress shop window. She was leaning up against the wall of the movie house whispering something to her very best friend Betty. Since leaving the house Connie’s appearance had changed dramatically. Leaving home in a presentable pair of shorts and blouse, that had since been modified revealing more of her thigh, her blouse was scantily laid off her shoulder to give her more sex appeal. Brandishing bright pink lipstick that made her look five years older. If mom or dad saw her dressed like that they would go ape for sure. Right then I pinned her beating feet towards the bridge with Betty on her tail leading to a local drive- thru restaurant across the way.

Suddenly we pulled up behind the perpetrators car. There was one man sitting in the car with a radio to his ear. The other man with shaggy black hair and sunglasses was holding firmly to my young sisters arm. “Stay in the Car” my father warned as he exited the car. “DADDY HELP ME” Connie Screamed. “What in the Hell do you think you are doing” my father yelled at the shaggy haired man. The man looking slightly amused sprang a frightening smirk on his face shoving my sister towards the car. The other man in the car with an orange shirt was now exiting the vehicle and it looked like they were looking for a fight. I was terrified when my father suddenly knew he had to act. BANG. BANG. BANG. BANG. BANG.BANG. My father unloaded the gun with no hesitation shooting both men dead in their

Gender Norms Aren’t Norm Anymore! I came rushing up the stairs and yelling for Isabella to hurry up. I wasn’t going to be late again just because she didn’t want to get up. Three minutes later she came barreling down the stairs from her room, went straight to the coat rack near the front door, and threw on her black leather jacket. Just like every other day she was sporting a rock band t-shirt, black skinny jeans, and a pair of high top shoes.…

I found the light in the interrogation room to be simultaneously too dim and annoyingly bright. The burns, scrapes, and bruises that covered me, made every move a painful one, but I wasn’t about to tell either detective that. I would put on a good face even if it killed me, which was something that had legitimate potential. “Please state your name for the record,” commanded the man on the other side of the room.…

Beer smells disgusting; I've hated the smell since I was 6. Weekly, my dad would come home from his construction job and spend time with his best friends Budweiser, Bud Light, and Corona. He would guzzle several beers every night. The alcohol was consuming his life, and his addiction was consuming my life too.
