In looking for Alaska the point of view if from Pudge (MIles Halter), the main character. By having the point of view from him it leaves a sort of mystery about The other characters. Miles Halter is the new kid at Culver Creek High School, so he doesn’t know anybody. As the reader we learn things about the other characters in the book at the same Miles does. The point of view is very important in this story and if the same story was told from a different point of view the story would change drastically.
