Who were this person’s family? How did they impact this person?
Poes family was made up of 4 people, David, Elizabeth(parents), older brother and younger brother. The mother died when he was 2 years and then his brother went to live with his grandparents when he was adopted. As an adult he had no money, skills and was 18 years, He decided to go and join the army.The thing that prepared this person for the work they did was school because he learned how to write and then I think he got the dark experiences from his childhood and the army. They family and friends that helped him was the allen family that adopted him .

He lived in Boston and was born on January 19 (Capricorn) and he was poor and he was in his adopted family's house. After he moved out he was still poor and had gambling problems then his fiance got

What was the outcome?
The challenges Edger Allen Poe challenged things like his mom dying at a young age and being in a adoption home and at 13 his teacher discouraged him about his poems and work. Also he went to the army at age 18 and then his fiance got engaged to another person. The outcome of this terrible, disappointing life was a great story and poem writer, with dark stories that 175 years later is people are still reading.

The accomplishments he achieved were being the most famous person creating the genre of of horror. He wrote around 70 poems and many were famous, he wrote the first modern detective story and is shown in the 3 books, the murders in the Rue morgue, the purloined letter, and the mystery of Marie Roget. He is also known as the father of detective fiction. He wrote the Raven and the tell tale heart.I think this person is an historic figure because he died 175 years ago and people still know his poems and short stories.
