But more than anything, to me and my siblings he was dad and to my mother he was a husband.
He was funny, crazy goofy, immature, the life of the party, a fierce competitor, fisherman, and a friend. He loved us with a devotion that encompassed his life. He taught us to believe in ourselves. After all he was a former United States Marine. He reminded us he was a jar head, a devil dog, a leatherneck, and a legend.
He was tough and wouldn't let anything or anyone hurt his family. He demanded that we stand up for ourselves and the weak.
To know ourselves, and to accept responsibility for ourselves. He taught us
