She is telling them that she stole their lives. They never had a name because they are death. All these children could never cry, or play, nor could they eat or be successful in life. She stole their lives these children cannot get married or experienced so kind of pain. They can’t get sick and she can’t help them because they don’t exist. Furthermore in this stanza she uses the word poisoned this word mean to kill with some kind of substance. She said “I poisoned the beginning of your breaths” (1035). She is conscious that whenever she did this, she was aware of it. She did it because she wanted to even though now she is suffering in the inside. In the last lines of this stanza the mother is realizing that she is complaining for a crime that is hers, for terrible decisions that she made when she was on her five senses. “Believe me, I love you all” (1035). She keeps talking directly to her children explaining to them that even though she took their lives away she still loves them. A mother is the only person that loves their children the most. Finally throughout this poem the mother is letting the readers know that she is alone, but she considers herself to be a mother even though she has not children
