In Orlando I’ve learned…
How to deal with the scorching heat
The hot sand is everywhere, burning my feet
To stay up late and swim all night long
To hear the crickets sing a lovely night time song

In Orlando I’ve learned…
How to have fun in the sun
The seagulls everywhere, ruining my bun
People together, running along the beach
Girls in groups clinging to their phones like a leech

In Orlando I’ve learned…
How to relax and unwind
As the water from the pool drips down my spine
Eating some ice cream bursting with flavor
Just sitting down and appreciating nature

In Orlando I’ve learned…
That it’s great to have fun
But it’s also great to read before the day is done
As I close my book and brush my teeth
I hope into bed
