The line “My stomach sucked in as if I'm wearing a Victorian corset.” is also another example of simile and as well as an allusion. First of all it’s a simile because I’m comparing sucking my stomach like I’m wearing a Victorian Corset since the action of sucking in the stomach is like wearing one of those corsets as they are very tight. It’s also an allusion because it is a reference to a historical thing. Likewise, the line “To be or not to be;.” is an allusion considering it makes a reference to Shakespeare or specifically, Hamlet.
