The poem encourages self expression and shows women how to embrace their gifts given to them by the creator . Me personally I think this poem shouldn't just speak to women , but to any other person who feels they live on the outskirts of society's definition of acceptable or normal. The poem also allow us to see not only invisible ,but evident caste system there is in society between men and women where we are supposed to be
