Pocket Square Monologue

Improved Essays
dmittedly, the last three things make my blood boil, because they are an eyesore!

Pocket square, hence the word SQUARE! Your pocket square should be neat, fold the fabric into a SQUARE! It shouldn’t look like a clown napkin, like you pushed it down into the pocket and slowly pulled it out so it could collapse on your chest.

Generally speaking, your tie should JUST reach the waistband of your trousers, or slightly shorter, if you can’t take your jacket off because your tie looks like your borrow your son’s tie. You have a problem!

Sleeve cuffs should be exposed about half an inch, the arms of your suit jacket shouldn't be so long, a person would think you were hiding a jail ankle bracelet (I made that one up but you grasp my analogy. lol).

Ponyboy was really the first person I could express my opinions to and the first person I could really talk to about how I feel about this stupid social division we have to go by. Even though he doesn’t really understand how we Socs have problems too, I can see that he at least sort of understands- not completely, but just a little… Knowing that he sort of understands is a mixed feeling of relief and just a bit of an absurd feeling as well, I mean, a Soc and a greaser actually having a nice conversation.. I didn’t expect him to actually understand at all, but I also didn’t expect him to be completely ignorant about it either. “Cherry, look what’s coming,” Marcia quickly addressed. I watched the blue Mustang as it was coming down the street.…

Whether for or versus the traditionalism of shirt-tucking, the development of males's design shows it has excellent need to remain. So, prepare to tuck it (when you need to) and discover how to master those events when it's okay to let everything hang out.
