Plunge Short Story

In my opinion, I honestly thought that Reeling for the Empire was one of the creepiest short stories I have read in a very long time. For example, having someone basically kidnap you, lying to the guardian of that girl, and then turning you into a silk worm. That is very unusual. Next, I think it was a little rushed at the end. Also, I questioned a lot of the ideas in this story.…

As a child, I spent most of my time in my mother’s wardrobe. Since I was a very active child, I used to love climbing the cupboards; taking random clothes and accessories (which weren’t mine, by the way) and wearing them. I actually had a lot of fun, but when my mom came back home, she would always find her wardrobe messy and me sitting in the pile of clothes with a sheepish grin. She would just smile at me brightly, and laugh. There were a lot of clothes scattered around the floor, but me and my mom would clean it up very quick.…

Two Worlds: To Face or Two-faced? From nervously walking off a ledge only to be caught by the zipline’s ropes and pulleys, to jumping off a plank and onto a humongous inflatable mattress for some blobbing. From the blacked out, military-like obstacle course the first night we arrived, to the raging pool party that last night we stayed. From the hand-selected kayak trip bright and early that Wednesday morning for some breakfast and hot chocolate over by the water fall, to the unforgettable cabin talks my group and I would have after the daily entertaining Malibu Club meetings.
