Hi girls and boys of year 10 PLP students of 2017, I am writing to you to tell you a little bit about this subject and all the wonderful pathways PLP has shown me. PLP is a subject that all students in year 10 must pass and complete.
Most you might of heard teachers talk to you about SACE but do not quit understand what it means or what it is in general, not to worry here is an explanation of what I have understood form it; and what SACE and PLP is all about. First of all SACE stands for South Australia Certificate of Education. There are two component to SACE, stage begins in year 10 and normally completed in year 11; and then stage 2 is accomplished in year 12 which will open several pathways, like university. This event involved you to interact with a variety of different people, including your own peers. Confidence would be your number one tool to get anywhere or gain knowledge; you're basically learning bits of information from them and also talking to them about your career. Careers expo had everything to with long and short term goals, but mainly long. It gives you the opportunity to decide or think about you post schools, jobs that you would like to get into, and even subjects. For me, careers expo was relevant to my short term goals because it helped me decide what subjects that I would like to study in year 11 and 12. Short term goals lead me to think about my long ones, which would have been what university had the best facilities in relation to my career and what one; in order for my future job to work out. Careers expo was positive because
There were so many options to choose from, you were just surrounded by post school stations; and you would have the desire to choose any of your choice. Just by talking to people and reading the books provided, you had get excited and interested in learning more about your career. This experience was challenging as well, because there were so many positions it was heard to make a decision, your thoughts of what to take or leave out was the most difficult decision that you had to make. With so many knowledge that have been gained from one event, how can you possibility choose from a range of
