After the forty days period of fasting, the cage would be unlocked and two female servants will guide the person who is fasting to his simple and small sized meal in front of the public who are entertained by this scenario. The public used to view this person as an artist who is art is fasting and thus called him “The Fasting-Artist”. One day, an extremely prideful man decided to make history and gain wide fame by breaking all the records and fasting for more than forty days; this “artist” was the only person who was fully dedicated and devoted himself for the sake of his art “fasting”. Day and night, the fasting artist endlessly thinks of all the glory he will gain as an outcome of his massive accomplishment, which is setting a new fasting record. On his fortieth day, the servants released him out of his cage and offered him his tiny meal, as was the norm in the industry; however, he refused the meal and claimed that he did not like the food.
