Plot Summary: The Big Game Hunter

Rainsford is a big game hunter, and he goes on a hunting expedition with his friend,Whitney, in the Amazon River basin. On this trip Rainsford falls off the boat and gets marooned on Ship-Trap Island and detects a gunshot by perceiving sound then decides to venture en route that direction. When he goes that way, he discovers a palatial chateau. General Zaroff, a Russian big game hunter and Ivan,General Zaroff”s mute-deaf servant, live in this palatial chateau. General Zaroff and Ivan insists Rainsford comes inside and treats him admirably. Then Rainsford receives a piece of information that General Zaroff likes hunting human beings. Rainsford then wants to departure, but Zaroff forms a deal to let him go only if he can stay alive to a certain
