The school is not possibly allowed to dictate how religious one student is compared to how religious another student is, and because of that they can not make you stand because you don't practice your religion strong enough. Finally to reduce further conflict in schools the school has to accept the right of people to not stand instead of fighting the students and causing the students to fight back the problem. No student should get greater treatment for standing for the pledge and no student should be singled out for not doing the pledge either it should be fair both ways.
