Hey everyone, I have chosen to reflect on Bill Rodgers’ Video ‘Dealing with distractions confidently’. I found the strategies Rodgers provided to be very direct and explicit. I believe the ideas and examples Rodgers put forth were respectful and were also time efficient. By stating the rules and calmly and confidently providing the students with a choice, it minimises the chance of the distraction escalating into a battle. Rodgers demonstrated excellent strategies that made me feel confidently manage situations without them escalating into an argument.…

While analyzing the required text for this week there were five ethical categories that reoccurred through each document: responsibilities to parents, collaboration, community, personal development, and students. In addition, there are other categories, but these are the most significant to me. Special education teachers have a responsibility to parents: • Use culturally appropriate communication with parents and families that is respectful and accurately understood (CEC, 2010). • Actively seek and use the knowledge of parents and individuals with exceptionalities when planning, conduction, and evaluating special education services and empower them as partners in the education process (CEC, 2010). • Respect the private nature of the special…

Another approach to quantify the effect of casual learning is by utilizing programs that listen to measure learning by components, for example, quality, estimation, enthusiasm, and reach. Needs examinations is a technique that figures out what exists in the workforce and what attitudes and practices are expected to accomplish learning objectives (Schunk, 2004).
