As a PLC facilitator I feel that the most important thing, above all else, is to provide a place of refuge and security. As a freshman during my first semester, having the presence of PLC in my life was a game changer. It was a place where I could open up about my struggles and triumphs. My facilitators are truly a perfect example of what I aspire to be. They strive to make personal connections with each member of the family. They are my role models, no doubt about it, but they are my friends first. What I value most about the President’s Leadership Council program is the family aspect, and this what I would focus on the most.
