Soccer is the most popular game in the world and it is not hard to see why. Whenever I am watching a match involving my favorite team, Manchester United, it is always exciting. Seeing my favorite players score a goal is such great feeling but there is no better feeling than when your team wins a major championship. No other sport can provide the type of excitement that soccer can.

Playing soccer is a very fun pastime but it can really suck if you do not know what you are doing and do not know how to play. Don't worry though, with some practice and the right guidance you can improve your skills. You may not be able to play like Lionel Messi but at least you will be able to hold your own in a football match with your friends. The first skill that one should learn when playing soccer is how to pass the ball. Beginners should never try to dribble endlessly as they will lose the ball and put their team mates under pressure. When one want to pass the ball one should just simply side foot it using the instep. Once one gets the hang of this it will be really simple. One other thing that all players should do is to

If you want to see some of the masters at work you should look at some YouTube videos of some of the all-time master of ball control in soccer. These include legends like Zinedine Zidane, Dennis Bergkamp, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Dimitar Berbatov, Thierry Henry and Ronaldo Luiz Nazario De Lima. You may not be able to replicate some of the delicate touches they mastered but you can definitely learn a thing or two from them. When controlling a ball you should also try and use the instep of your foot. Sometimes you can also try to use the underside of your foot but you should avoid using your toes.
