Park Vista High School put on a well plan One-Act Production. These one-acts were student written and directed. They were put on in the auditorium of the school and hosted by Kevin VanMeter. Each play showed different plots, and emotions. Not only did the students direct these one-acts with skill. The actors were entirely different from one another and took the lines into different interpretation than the generic form. As for the technical aspect they used the lighting, and prop with purpose and reason.
The first play present was directed by Holly Rohan and written by Hanna Alison. The one-act titled “Audition Day” didn’t impress me with the introductory scene, but that quickly change at the end. This play was about the day of and audition. You find out what it’s like for a director and actors to go through the audition process. Unfornetately the talent isn’t so great and the director beings to lose her cool. One thing I really enjoyed is each character was defined differently.

I do wish there was a door or a door frame, but the separate was still clear. The costumes for the show were perfect. They allowed to you to grasp a sense of relatability and connection. They were dressed as average day people. Even some character were even dressed as the weird ones we do double takes on.
The next one-act I enjoyed was “Better with the Baker’s” written by Eddie Uehara and Baylee Brochu. It was the most technical one-act out of them all. The one-act was directed by Kevin V. and assisted directed by Maci Forester. This one-act had so much going on, but it matched its theme. The one-act is about a sitcom plot twit the characters are being held captive by the director. They have an uprising and spoilers… kill him. The characters in this play are
