This spring semester it has been difficult to get hours because of all the rain we have been getting. This was beneficial I feel like because you had to communicate with the Sports information people to know when you could work with the rain delays and what changes have been made. I was supposed to work baseball on April 7, but it was raining the morning of and the night before making the fields unplayable. I talked to Kendra and she told me to come back for the two o’clock Men’s Lacrosse game. I got there thirty minutes early as usual.…

This time I was going for my first belt test. I looked towards the center, there sat 6 judges, each with a pencil and paper. In an attempt to remember everything I learned in class I began to run through the combinations in my mind; punch, punch, duck, wait or was it duck, punch, punch. I sat there waiting for my turn fearful that I was going to mess up. As I grew more anxious the other combinations seemed to mix together.…

    Play Critique Essay

As a person who has only attened two other plays in their life, people might call me “unqualified” to review a play; these people are wrong. My qualifications for play review come solely from an “excess” amount of musicals listened to, pirated videos, and animatics watched on youtube. Seeing Guys and Dolls live was a great experience as a whole, and I enjoyed myself throughly. Understandably there were a few things that I disagreed with, so I will nitpick and pretend that my qualifications alone make me justified to critique a play that no doubt took alot of effort, stress, and love to make.…

In the narrative performance theory, there are three levels that can be used to understand how voluntarily child free couples talk about that within their families. The first component of the narrative performance theory is content level. This level of the theory allows us to understand what the story is about, what kinds of stories we can tell, and at what times we can tell those stories. When talking about a voluntarily child free family, they would have to utilize this theory when assessing how to go about talking about their family to other members of their extended family. For example, when the couple goes to family gathering and people ask when they are going to have kids, they could resort to humor to tell a story about how they…
