What is Planter Fascitis?
Planter Fascitis is inflammation and pain of the connective tissue at the bottom of the foot called the planter fascia. At its most basic, the planter fascia connects the heel and the ball of the foot and aids with walking. When inflamed, this typically causes pain at the heel which is worse for the first few steps of the day and after a long day on your feet.
