Alstromeria known by people as Peruvian lily or lily of the Incas or parrot lily is a south America genus of over 50 species of flowering plants with its natural habitat ranging from the cool mountain of the Andes in Chile, Peru and brazil and this magnificent flower was discovered in the 18th century by the Swedish scientist Clas alstromer
