Many start planning months or even years ahead. There is so much that goes into planning a wedding and not very many people realize it until it’s their time to walk down the aisle. Planning ahead is crucial when planning a wedding. Some would disagree with this and think a wedding could be planned the month before. If someone is planning on going all out with a huge wedding, they need to give themselves plenty of time to figure things out. Planning a wedding is already stressful and running out of time will just make matters worse. “People that start planning everything for their wedding one month earlier, find themselves into some nerve-wracking situations and circumstances” (Bradley 1). Planning ahead provides more time to double or even triple check things to make sure everything is ready and perfect for the big day.
To help guarantee no mistakes or flaws on the wedding day, it is extremely important to start planning a wedding at least a year ahead because it is one of the most important days in a woman 's life. If someone decides to wait to go dress shopping the month before the wedding, they more than likely won’t be getting the dresses they were wanting. Usually, bridesmaids all get matching dresses that match the colors chosen for the wedding or the theme. For example, let 's say the wedding colors are blue and silver, the bridesmaids dresses would be blue. For the groomsmen, they usually all get tuxes. They can get their vest to match the bridesmaids so like in our example, the groomsmen vest and ties would be blue.
