Good afternoon, ladies and gentleman. For those who do not know me, I am Chris Christie. I decided to run as a Republican Presidential candidate for the 2016 elections. Before I start, I want to apologize for the comments and actions I made towards certain groups. I apologize to the LGBT community for the comments I made over the Supreme Court’s decisions on the legalization of gay marriage. I realize that making these comments against these individuals showed childish and unprofessional behavior. I apologize to the citizens over my approval to increase the NSA budget to make this country the real versions of the novel 1984. However, with the increase of the NSA budget, they will perhaps, catch criminal before they commit a crime. Finally, I want to apologize to women everywhere, for my comments and denial of funding for Planned Parenthood. I now realize how Planned Parenthood benefits the health of women. Now that we have gotten this out of the way we now will proceed to the main issue at hand, improving the United States. The United States needs to improve in order to compete with other first world countries. Together, we will fix some of the major issues in this country such as the economy, education, and healthcare for America's veterans. …show more content…
I believe we need a tax system that lowers individual rates for every American while unleashing the nation’s growth potential. I will reform the tax code by creating a flatter, fairer and simpler individual income tax system and keep returns simple by reducing deductions and giveaways. This will encourage those nearing retirement to keep working should they want to, and make it easier for the young to enter the workforce. Both will prove beneficial for America. With these policies, the economy will

Planned Parenthood filed a lawsuit against the Center for Medical Progress in the Federal District Court in San Francisco on Thursday, January 14, for the group’s undercover video footage of certain Planned Parenthood clinics. The lawsuit alleges conspiracy, fraud, and other violations made against Planned Parenthood through the released videos. The filed lawsuit claims that the defendants fabricated a tissue procurement company in order to access private medical conferences and procured false identities in order to attend private meetings, which were then also illegally recorded. The series of undercover videos were released by CMP, an anti-abortion group, in July 2015, accusing Planned Parenthood of making a profit from selling aborted fetuses.…

Women need Planned Parenthood to help them make the correct medical decisions about their body based on proper medical advice; this organization has helped many women across the nation. The government plans to defund it because they think they own a women’s body. This is false; women own their bodies, not a governing body, a man, or even another woman. The…

Likewise, Richard Hanna posted his reasoning against the bill shortly after the vote. According to this post, Mr. Hanna doesn’t believe in abortion, yet he believed that defunding Planned Parenthood wouldn’t bring abortions to a halt. Instead, he said that for this to happen, it will take a combination of laws, education and, access to birth control to eradicate the procedure (Why I Voted No on H.R.314, 2015). Congressman Hanna cited many statistics on Planned Parenthood, and said that he stands in support of women’s healthcare, since “if enacted, this legislation would force 2.7 million people to lose their current doctor,” yet he believed that an investigation should take place “to ensure that all medical practices, and procedures within…

Planned Parenthood should remain funded because it provides people with essential disease screening and prevention like breast exams and STD testing, educates youth, gives women access to contraception, and gives women more choices when it comes to unintended or unwanted pregnancies. People against the non-profit like to focus on abortions when discussing Planned Parenthood, but their most used service is disease screening and prevention. In Planned Parenthood’s 2014-2015 annual report, it states that 52% of services that they provide include exams for breast and cervical cancer and STD testing; most popular of which are tests for HPV and HIV (…

Women’s rights has been an issue in the United States since the early 1800’s and until all people are comfortable discussing the fact that in many parts of the world, women have no say in what they can do with their bodies or how it’s treated. A woman should be the only one who can decide what is best for her body. There is only so much that women can do when the one place that helps women with checkups and abortion based questions, Planned Parenthood, is being defunded or closed down. “The House of Representatives is expected to pass a budget reconciliation bill that guts the Affordable Care Act, pulls roughly $450 million in federal assistance from Planned Parenthood and prevents Medicaid recipients from getting reimbursed…
