Life is a box of different kinds of candies, we never don’t know which kind of candy inside when we open it. However, I believe that as long as have belief in my heart, whatever I got the kind of candy after I opened the box, I will accept, never say die.
The whole thing from about three years ago, at that time I just graduated from junior high school, my parents had begun to plan for my graduation from high school to college in the United States. Because they want me to learn independently, train my character and improve my ability to deal with things all alone in my life. In fact, my grades were not good when in junior high school. I began to don’t study hard in eight grade, I felt that hangout with friends is the most important and the study is torture us. However, one stoke, three-year junior high school life had end by the examination method, this examination called entrance examination for secondary school. The points of entrance examination for secondary school decide whether we can enter key high school or not, even will have an indirect influence on our developmental direction. It is conceivable that my points of entrance examination for secondary school were not good and led to I didn’t enter key senior high school. My mother cried very sad due to my points. Since the first time I saw my mother cried, I always thought my mother was very strong. That day I had felt a strange sense of guilt like never before in my life, I felt very sorry for my parents. At that time I dare not look at her eyes. One night, my father wants to talk with me. So I started to prepare for the TOEFL test. It with one month to TOEFL test, so I was pressed for time. My weakness is listening and reading, I decided to focus on practice listening and reading. The first week, I plan to review all the words with surprising frequency in the TOEFL test. Because a lot of words have been memorized before, so the plan for this week was not difficult to do. The second week, I started to practice reading and listening. I accumulated a certain amount of vocabulary, I began to understand the content of the article for reading. When I practiced my listening, I learned how to take notes, write down the key words at the beginning. When I first started practicing reading and listening I felt it was a very difficult task for me, I always didn’t understand the article talking about and I didn’t find key words when I listening, the words I can write down are not keywords. This week , I felt fidgety, I had the thought of giving up, but my mind raced to the purpose of I do these things. I thought of my belief : I was born for myself, I didn’t want to be laughed with other people, I need to come true my dream, don’t give up easily. Thought of this I cheer up again. Then, the third week, for reading, I started learning how to use key words to understand the article 's content. For listening, I learned how to use key words recalled the content
