There were too many of them, over 350 enemy aircraft started dropping bombs and torpedoes. I looked up as a 1800 pound bomb smashed deep into the USS Arizona. 1000 of my fellow comrades were on that ship, all of them died within a few seconds of it hitting the USS Arizona. Tears streaming down my face. My comrades that I trained with are now fertilizing the ground with their deceased bodies, hopefully flowers will grow in their places.

They come then they leave and come again. It’s like the waves in the water, they are spread out. I look up greatful to be alive but I also wish I was dying so I didn't have to witness this. All around me dry rocks and airfields are being destroyed. I can already tell that about 20 vessels have been destroyed, not including the battleships. I can’t even imagine how many planes have been taking down!
Suddenly I feel a jolt. Bombs were starting to fall closer and closer towards me. Until my luck ran out, the bomb first landed in the water. The second it made contact with the water, all hope was lost. Quickly it swam toward the ocean shore. Within seconds it came into contact with the ocean shore. I could feel the heat on my skin. I abruptly fall into the water. Not having the strength to swim, I sink. I have just enough strength to hold my breath. Soon Elise and the children come into my view. Remembering the way used to be with them, is enough for me to smile. I smile, until I slowly… drift…
