Plain English Vs Standard English

There are many writing styles, comparing plain English to standard English, the business world would benefit from, in my opinion the plain English. However, I think they use the standard English style of writing more often. The plain English style of writing has more use of complex wording and use of wordy phrases. This causes the reader to have frustration if they are not familiar with the terminology or terms used in the writing. This makes for misinterpretation of the message of what the writer is trying to convey. Though the plain English is more organized, it still can present difficulties in understand the intended message. It has no emotion and makes for boring reading which is not retainable. The reader has to repeat reading the document to try to get somewhat of an understanding as to what is the meaning of the message. The standard style has a more positive flow to the writing where the plain English doesn’t offer neither positive nor negative it just simply exists. When a document is uninviting, the reader is frustrated and limits the ability to understand and has the reader read only for the content and not to retain the information. The standard English style is easy to follow and flows easily. It keeps with the main idea of the subject and stands out above the plain English style. The plain English style does keep up with the subject but with all the terminology and wordiness makes the ability to follow more difficult. The plain English style has more words making it longer which can be a deterrent to an average reader. Most readers want short, to the pint documents that enhance what the subject is and what the writer is trying to convey. The lengthier the document the less likely the reader will want to read
