The definition of cheating, according to Wikipedia, is "To act dishonestly or unfairly in order to gain an advantage, especially in a game or examination." A few examples of cheating would be to go online while taking a test and search for the answers on the internet in order to pass. Another example would be when a teacher asks you if you did your homework and you did not, you say you did because you want do not want to fail the assignment. There are many different forms of cheating, whether it is you cheating by yourself, you cheating off of someone, or you giving answers to someone. One example of a form of cheating would be to take a copy of an answer key before it is supposed to be seen, and tell everyone you know what the answers are. Cheating comes in many forms and as a result has many consequences.
