If you are caught cheating in this manner, it will most likely be treated as plagiarizing and will be dealt with accordingly. According to Harvard University's policy, if you turn in the same paper for more than one subject, they treat that as plagiarism and will punish you as if you plagiarized the paper. Michigan University also treats turning in the same paper in more than one course or even in the same class, or just the same term, it is plagiarizing. So, many colleges treat cheating as plagiarizing and you will be punished as if you did even if you were just cheating.
