I am finding that ending this placement is a bittersweet experience. Times of transition like this cause me to reflect on what I have learned and how it will impact me in the future. Firstly, it has been very nice to make some connections in Richmond and Greater Vancouver more generally because I am not from here. I had the chance to get to know my supervisors quite well and feel extremely lucky to have had so much support. I knew that I had a strong relationship with one of my supervisors when I was able to tell her about my placement interview with the other supervisor and how it was so awkward because I got very lost and because my feet were bleeding from blisters.
