The film Pitch Perfect (2012) is a musical comedy that follows the story of an all-girl a cappella group as they attempt to win the national collegiate a cappella championship. As the main character, Becca Mitchell (Anna Kendrick) enters college at Barden University, the Barden Bellas, as the group is called, are in desperate need of new members. Unfortunately, the group had a prior incident that ruined their reputation, and no one wants to join the a cappella group. This forces them to accept girls who would not normally fit the Barden Bella look.
