Gangs are considered a group of people who are cliqued up together. They are also known for committing crimes selling drugs and for the title the most powerful gang in the streets. The gang that I will be doing my research on are called bloods, I chose to do my paper on them because I have a lot of close friends that are a part of this gang and there things that cannot tell me because I’m not a part of the gang and I want to find out somethings that they cannot share with me.

When bloods are commutating with each other they use a different type of tongue, for example when they are talking anything that has the letter c in is replace with letter b. Bloods have other words and codes that only people within the gang will know and understand. For example the number 31 stands for blood love, 23 stands for get him, 212 stands for let me holla at you, and 5 poppinn 6 droppin stands for bloods are shooting and Crips are dying. Bloods have handshakes and signs that they all have the same and some are different. The hand signs are known as stacking. When a member is stacking him or she is telling a story. Throughout the story you will notice the 5 pointed crown along with many different signs that disrespect the Crips. The will spell the word blood out with both hands while doing other movements with their feet and hands. When members are stacking they move their fingers and dance so fast that it looks like a dace move but they are really telling a story and disrespecting other gangs showing and telling that they are the strongest and most powerful gang. In conclusion, bloods are a black street gang that started of protecting their neighborhoods because of situations and police problems back in the early 60’s and 70’s.
