Keeping up with the latest trends and the newest innovations in the market is an essential role for a company that can lead it to success. The article describes various factors that are a part of Pinterest’s innovations in order to become successful. Some of these factors include understanding the target market, the clients, the market, and various aspects of the market. One of the factors that can lead Pinterest to success is understanding the client’s target market. The textbook mentions that, “They may feel they have more knowledge about the market and competitors as well as a better understanding of the intricacies and complexities of their business (Belch & Belch, 2014, p. 78). For instance, by understanding that various agencies and companies may experience technical or general difficulties utilizing Pinterest to its full ability, they are offering ‘Pinstitute’ in order to help eliminate any confusion or difficulties they may be experiencing. Also, by offering more specific pins, consumers are also experiencing fewer complexities than they may have been experiencing before. The new service of ‘Pinstitute’ and more specific pins for the target market are a result from Pinterest better understanding the various parts of the market, which can lead it to success. In essence, Pinterest is on its way to success due to better comprehension of the target market, the clients, the market, and the various parts of the market. By creating new services and features such as more distinct pins and an event known as ‘Pinstitute,” Pinterest is better able to understand its target market and make the experience of using Pinterest a lot easier.
