To enhance the skill of pincer grip, provide children a variety of activities, such as:
1. Using a range of pencils, textas, crayons and chalks in different coloured and sized, e.g. Short crayons about one-inch pieces encourage the proper grip, (Gagne, 2014).
2. Writing aid made of soft rubber in a pear-shaped body and a hole in the center for pencil or pen insertion helps the correct positioning of the hand, (Patents, 2006).
3. Opening and closing of clothes pegs to strengthen wrists and hand for developing a pincer grip, (Alton, 2005)
4. Peeling off and sticking stickers encourage pinch strength with thumb and index finger, (DOT, 2005).
5. Squeezing tweezer to pick up small objects for sorting color pom-poms
