Pikes Peak Therapeutic Riding Center: Case Study

Improved Essays
The Volunteer Coordinator for Pikes Peak Therapeutic Riding Center is Michael Mersman. He joined the staff a little over a year ago with little experience and knowledge about horses and the therapies offered, yet he is well informed about the horses, the therapies offered, and populations that are served. Michael presented the information about the organization by showing a video, presenting the functions and the therapies offered through PowerPoint, and sharing successful therapeutic stories. The stories were genuine and provided several viewpoints to see the effectiveness of the organization. Michael presented well, the only area I would like to have known more about is, the history behind the organization and therapeutic techniques.
