Pikes Peak-Personal Narrative

When looking at objects that tell the story of my life, there does not seem to be a lot to choose from. I was an only child of a single parent. That being said the most memorable part would have been moving to Colorado and seeing the mountains for the first time at a young age. I remember the first time I saw Pikes Peak, how I was in shock and awe over how spectacular a natural formation coming from the Earth could be, as I have never seen anything quite like it before. The mountains span as far as our eyes could see and could we could see them from a great distance away. The one part about seeing the Pikes Peak I will always remember was the fact it was summer time when I first saw them, and there was snow on the Peak. I did not realize how much of an impact on my life the mountains had until I moved back to South Dakota. Not only did it give me a sense of direction growing up, it was always a pleasure to look out my window every moving and see a marvelous site. …show more content…
Before moving to Colorado I never showed much interest in them, because back then it was very expensive and I was a little kid around eight years old. But it was around middle school when I was thirteen years old that I started to undoubtedly fall in love with computers. It was my first year in middle school that I started building websites, granted the websites I built were never very good but looking back on it now they actually were quite good for being quite young. I would spend hours after school and stay up way past my bed time building my website. Sometimes I would even pretend to be sick so I could stay home from school to talk with other kids who lived on the other side of the world to discuss functionality, coding, and new ideas for designing
