Specific Purpose: By the end of my speech, my audience will be persuaded to invest for a retirement plan.

Attention Getter: So how many of you have a piggy bank? If you did have one, then you already knows how it’s worked. Basically, You just saving your money in your piggy bank and by the time it full, then you open the piggy bank and get the money for personal uses.
Thesis Statement: Today, I will try to persuade you all to start investing for a retirement plan, so that you will have the money to pay for medical care, the lifestyle you want, the home you want to have, the cars you want to own, and all the amazing places that you want to visit by the time you are retired.

According to the information I found at www.money.usnews.com, “Why More Americans Are Working Past Age 65” published by Emily Brandon, a senior editor for Retirement at U.S. show that retirement at 65 is no longer a feasible option for many people.
The reason, that the people still working passed age 65 because they did not participate in retirement plane.
In Emily Brandon’s article, “Why More American Working past Age 6,” Because only about half of the workforce is offered retirement benefits through their employer. And even when benefits are offered, Many workers choose not to participate in their company 401(k) plan or contribute only small amounts.”
