I realized quickly that I couldn’t avoid the constant critical thinking. I know in the state of Massachusetts one must be 21 years of age or older to even consider the police academy. I knew I had time to use, but how so? I debated; do I go back to college? Associates Degree? Bachelor’s Degree? Do I live there? Should I commute? There were so many questions I felt like I could not answer. In the moment, I knew I did not like living at college in the pursuit of a bachelor’s degree.
