This picture is black and white of young boy called Flavio, feeding rice to his younger brother Zacarias. My first impression of Flavio’s archive was that it seemed to be a very sad story. This photo shows the horrors of poverty and Flavio’s strength to survive, and even the courage to accept death without even thinking about himself but of his brothers and sisters. I did some research and found out that Flavio is a 12-year-old boy who has the huge responsibility of being an adult. He is able to accept this responsibility while still remaining vibrant and hopeful even though Flavio is suffering from a physical illness, poverty, overwork and worry.…

In the present day, film is one of the foremost media forms in the world with nearly all cultures being represented. Film is the product of many different media forms combined into one including photography, painting, music, and sculpture just to name a few. Given that, there is art if film, but an ongoing debate questions whether film itself can be conceived as an art form at all. All films at their bare minimum are photographic images being shown in a rapid succession to give the appearance of movement. André Bazin believes that photography holds a place in the category of the 'plastic arts ' along with paintings, and sculptures, in that photography is an art form.…

The RP reported that a white male was sitting in a white passenger car with his head slumped back. Middle Grades are probably the most difficult grades to get through for everyone. During this time of physical, social, emotional, intellectual, and moral development for these students learning about the history of Georgia is literally the last thing they think about, if they even really think about it at all. These students are some of the most difficult students to keep their attention focused on the subject matter at hand, unless of course we are discussing them, then and only then will the teacher get their full attention. In the picture there are many differences between the two different people. One of them is a wealthy white man and the other half is a poorer Indian man. The first thing that I see is the top. If CCMS received one million dollars this is what I would improve the cafeteria, update the 7th and 8th grade wing, and sports. I would improve the cafeteria that way it could hold more people that way we don't have to have 1st and 2nd lunches. I would also improve the 7th and 8th grade wing because it's not really the best. My TE-100 class went to Barr Middle School in Grand Island, Nebraska and Northeast Elementary in Kearney, Nebraska. Due to a conflict I was unable to attend the Barr Middle School visit and went to Walnut Middle School in Grand Island, Nebraska instead. At Walnut Middle School, I observed Mrs. Coble, the seventh grad math teacher. At Northeast, I observed Mrs. Tobey, a fourth grade teacher. My observation of Ms. de la Fuente’s 5th grade class this week started after lunch during their math time. On Wednesday, their schedule had been different from normal and there was two other teachers in the classroom teaching them about different types of rocks. On Thursday, a sixth grade math teacher came to the classroom to further explain what they had been learning about conversions, and to tell them about what they would learn next year when they went to sixth grade.. During arrival in the morning and dismissal in the afternoon, the same routine is followed on almost all days. Throughout the course of my five days at the SAHETI primary school, I found myself astonished at various activities that are done throughout the day. Through the course of my practical, I was given a Grade two class to observe and I unquestionably discovered a recently developed love for that age group. I was always adamant from the first time I knew I wanted to become a teacher that I wanted to teach Grade one’s, but my thoughts have definitely evolved. During the course of my observing I was more than willing to help with various activities such as marking, doing spelling tests with the children, as well as helping them with any difficulties they were having with their work. I have gained a lot of experience after helping out with the activities and my knowledge for teaching has grown immensely.…
