Pickleball Research Paper

Improved Essays
In the summer of 1965 on Bainbridge Island near Seattle, WA, three dads created what is now known as pickleball in an attempt to entertain their children. Since then, the sport has gained popularity among the US and Canada, as well as European and Asian countries, and is now growing internationally. The sport features a combination of tennis, badminton, ping-pong, and racquetball. It can be played indoors or outdoors on a Pickleball court, or on a tennis or badminton court converted into a Pickleball court. A total of eleven points are scored throughout the game, which is played with a paddle and wiffle-ball-like ball. Any clothing the player feels appropriate may be worn. Pickleball is not limited to a certain age. In fact, its simplicity
