On a normal day, Mari had her piano lesson from five to six o’ clock. Each lesson felt like hours to her. She was taking lessons because her mom forced her to. Even now, Mari still doesn’t know why her mom wanted her to take lessons. She really hated to go because of the piano teacher. To her, she was a harsh and strict person. Back then, Mari wasn't only taking the piano lessons, she had other stuff to do because of her mom. Mari was taking calligraphy, sports club, soroban, kumon, ballet, and piano. All of these activities made her life very stressful. Because of the other extracurricular activities, she really didn't have any time to practice the piano. Eventually, there came a day when Mari had to go play the piano in front of her teacher. When she got there the teacher asked her if she practiced at home any and she said no. The teacher became angry with her response. The teacher said “Why are you taking piano when you're not …show more content…
They hugged each other for quite some time before her mom exclaimed, "Good job Mari! I am so proud of you". Mari was puzzled by her mom’s remark. "Why are you so proud of me? I was horrible playing on that stage". Her mom then said, "What? What are you talking about? Your ability to play the piano is one thing that many people are not able to do! You have many talents Mari!” Mari was even more confused and said to her mom " What are you talking about? I stopped and sat there for three minutes while I was playing! I stopped and panicked because I suddenly couldn't hear any notes coming from the piano". Then her mom started to stroke Mari's head as a way of comfort. "Well you excelled on your performance and you had no mistakes". Mari was so surprised. She told herself that it must be her dream or something. However, it was a strange dream though. After Mari had this experience that she couldn't hear the piano, I remembered that we read the book in class called “Night Face

My classroom procedures are very clear, which the class has become familiar with over the semester. Students are to come in from their special class and grab their materials and go sit on the carpet and get ready for math to begin. These are expectations that should be memorized by now. Many of them do this and it contributes to the flow of the classroom and the engagement level of the entire groups. Students are expected to pay attention to the speaker during the mini-lesson by facing their way and not playing with any other items.…

One accomplishment I am most proud of is teaching myself to play the piano. Music has always been one of my favorite things in life. When I was younger, I would try to come up with song lyrics and was also interested in learning guitar. My dad played when he was younger but never played much after he had kids. I was fortunate enough one day to get a piano from a close family friend.…

Development Scared, nervous, and unhappy would describe how I felt about taking a college English class. English was my most dreaded subject, and always has been simply because there is not always a right answer. I like to think and view things as black and white, but English is full of digging through the grey. Never the less I walked into my first day of English 101 dreading what was to come, however I left with an open mind.…

I completed my ten-hour class observation at the private school Georgia Military Prep. The Georgia Military Prep School is located on Georgia Military College’s main campus in Milledgeville. At GMC prep I observed Ms. Jennifer Spencer's advanced eighth grade math class. Ms. Spencer has a decidedly pleasant air about her, a quick smile, and a brisk step that belies her ‘let us get the job done’ type attitude. On my first day observing her class, I soon gathered that Ms. Spencer always has a goal in mind when she sets foot in the classroom.…

With this game, however, I was relaxed and dropped off. Songs like "the little vest you are wearing, I stitched it for you", "Goodbye Virgin Mary"," why you care…
