Physics: Seatbelts Third Law Of Motion

We need seatbelts because when a car stops really fast,the person will still continue to move forward at the same speed the car was going in.Seatbelts help stop us from moving forward really fast.Newtons third law of motion explains this.It states that for every action,there is an equal and opposite reaction.Thats why you move forward at the same speed as the car right before it stopped.
I have learned that a force can change the motion of an object and that a force can be a push,pull,twist,or rub.I only thought a force was a push or pull.Also that there are different types of force:gravity,contact force,and friction.There are also different types of friction such as static,kinetic,and rolling friction.Something I found confusing is the difference
