Physics Of Soccer

Physics in Soccer There is at least some form of physics in everything; in this research paper we will be discovering the physics in sports, specifically soccer. The main type of physics on soccer would be the action, angle, force, and direction of the ball. The angle that a soccer player kicks a ball causes it to spin. The speed and direction of that spin causes it to curve, speed up, or even change direction, while in flight. This curve, of the ball, during flight is known as the Magnus Effect. While the ball is spinning it creates friction between the ball and the air and causes the air to react to the direction of the spin of the ball.
