I discovered that both of these subjects relate to Mathematics in the form of symmetry. After all, it never ceases to amaze me how Mathematics seems to be everywhere at once, even in places you expect not to find it. In school, I totally enjoyed studying Physics and Chemistry and the laboratory experiments that we had. More than just facing my examinations, I was given the chance to participate in the Mighty Minds National Challenge. Moreover, I was once certified to achieve distinction for foundation level and merit for advanced level in the Malaysian National Chemistry Quiz 2012 and 2014 which organized by Institution of Chemistry Malaysia with the cooperation of Ministry of Education Malaysia. Actuaries use mathematics, statistics, and financial theory to study uncertain future events, especially those of concern to insurance and retirement pension programs. Actuaries may work for insurance companies, consulting firms, government, employee benefits departments, or, more generally, in businesses that need to manage financial risk. A career as an Actuary is better described as a business career with a mathematical basis than as a technical mathematical career. Actuaries describe their work as challenging and interesting and generally enjoy a good working environment. Finally, I would like to restate that I would like to pursue a degree in Actuarial Science to employ as a future Actuary. To achieve my dream, I really want to continue graduate study in actuarial science.
