I agree that the use of incentives is one of the favorable approaches to change physicians’ way of improving health care quality and cutting cost but, the change is great at the individual level. There is a lot more to learn about the pay-for performance program. Many people believe that the ACA is flawed and other believes that it just not working. ACA is a promising reform and we have seen that many Americans who couldn’t receive quality care or none are benefiting from the reform and the ACOs accountability. The unfortunate fact is that healthcare demand has no natural limit or statistical correctness. Many people ask at this early stage questions such as, are primary care physicians prices lower after reform? The health care reform has varieties of benefits including access and quality, but cost is still a challenge across the nation. Private sectors prices haven’t change. Perret and Rasen Medical doctors at Department of Anesthesiology & Perioperative (as cited in Dunnand and shapiro 2011) underlined that the reform has no effect on group premiums in Massachusetts.
