Specific Purpose (Goal/Objective): To educate my classmates on why Physician- Assisted suicide should not be legalized.
Thesis Statement (Content Overview): Death is a hard concept to swallow through physician- assisted suicide it becomes even more difficult one will lack trust in a doctor- patient relationship, economical motives, and lack of depression diagnosis.

When you hear the words physician assisted suicide many of you may be wondering what exactly this entails. (CNN)
A. There are many terms that are thrown around about what physician assisted suicide is.
1. The term physician assisted suicide is defined by the Medical Dictionary as, voluntary termination of one's own life by administration of a lethal substance with the direct or indirect assistance of a physician. Physician-assisted suicide is to be distinguished from the withholding or discontinuance of life-support measures in terminal or vegetative states so that the patient dies of the underlying illness, and from administration of narcotic analgesics in terminal cancer, which may indirectly hasten death (Physician Assisted).
2. Over the years it can become a large ethical issue that has been brought up with in the health care community. It has been fought over in court and the law many times (Physician Assisted).
