Physical Therapy Personal Statement

Decent Essays
I get excited about restoring hope and freedom to an individual. I desire for people to experience physical, emotional, and spiritual abundant life. As a physical therapist, I would address all these components but specifically narrow in on their physical well being. Movement is essential to abundant physical well being. I believe we are created to work and move. In Western culture, we are becoming sedentary and dependent on modern medications to cope with diseases and physical limitations. I was drawn to physical therapy because it uses manual maneuvers to facilitate movement and treat a patient's dysfunction. Today, we use super computers, diagnostic electronic devices, medications, and other technological advances to solve and fix problems.
