For my observation I went to the facility Rehad4Life, it is a physical therapy building that has many areas of specialties. The atmosphere of the building was friendly and welcoming, which helped ease stress and patient anxiety. I met three different patients and bonded well with all. The second was just as friendly and welcoming he updated me on the daily news and events around the world. Finally, the third patient discussed her goals and standards for where she wants her progress to be at by a certain time. I also saw many different stretching techniques used, some being static, manual, and isometrics as well. The many different treatment options also surprised me because that way the patient can change the treatment route based off their liking as well as the therapist's.

I have always had an interest in physical therapy and this observation just confirmed my interest. I loved the comfortable atmosphere and the ability to establish strong relationships with the patient. The interaction between the patient and therapist is important the environment allows for it. I can see myself becoming a physical therapist because I enjoy hands on work and the ability to socialize with others during the process. My past involves many visits with a physical therapist so knowing I will be able to help others the way they helped me really drives me to help
