The career that I have chosen for my pathway is physical therapy. I have chosen this career because it means a lot me for many different reasons. A main reason is that I have recently had an injury that changed the way I think about how important physical therapy is to me and how it helped me walk again. This career has made a major impact in my life, and I want to show how important it is to other people. My mentor was Chris Swoope; he is a physical therapist at Augusta Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. I learned how the research matches what he did during the shadowing.
