Working with The Physical Disabilities and The Chronic Condition (elderly) is legitimately tough. Having a caseload of 102 clients makes a regular day hectic. Interviewee Ms. A is currently employed by Independence Care System located in Downtown Brooklyn, NY. Working in the field of Disabilities for 4 years with her LMSW from Hunters College. She coordinates services to ensure members are receiving what they need in order to live independently and to stay active within their communities. Among her 102 caseloads, she has to contact and/or visit every client that are due to the Person Center Service Plan (PCSP). As well, Ms. A has to contact all clients monthly within 30 days and makes sure the clients are due for their monthly meet up in person. With every

What Ms. A dislikes the most of the job is the focus on quantity and quality; the social worker working within the company have to meet up with the number no matter what the situation is. When ordering a wheelchair, for example for a client Ms. A dislike when the outside companies that her agency works with taking a length of time in ordering the product because she understands the well-being of her clients. Working in any field of social work there would always be a dilemma, with Ms. A her dilemma is quantity vs. quality. In order to make her boss happy, she has to do everything possible in order to meet the number that needs to be met by the end of the month. Unfortunately, in order to meet the number she has to sacrifice making home visits since they are time-consuming. However, she refuses to do so. Therefore she works twice as hard because she cares more about quality as a Social Worker, but still, she is aware of the importance of the numbers to the agency. As of right now time management is a big issue for her because the well-being of her clients is undoubtedly important to
